Where does the name "Via Pontica" comes from?
"Via Pontica" was an ancient Roman road on the Balkans, connecting Bosphorus with the Danube. It was a north-south route along the Black Sea which currently leads through the territory of Bulgaria. Exactly this area today is best known with its huge variety of planted wine grapes as well as the outstanding quality of the produced wines. If you decide to try one of our wines, you buy at the same time 4,000 years of history and wine traditions transferred through the generations.
